We have not decide on beanie’s chinese name yet.

Attended our last antenatal class on Wednesday.
Very informative.
But too much info and rules to digest.
For next few weeks , I’ll need to :-
- revise all my notes
- practice the breathing techniques
- do execises

Beanie’s weight is about 2.5 kg
My weight is about 48.5 kg
Beanie lying very low now, thinks i squat down too often.
Dr Chong advised us to monitor beanie’s movements ,my weight and my amniotic fluid level. Any drop of the three may need to go for induced labour.
Tahan for another 4 more weeks …..

Playing Mum

Even before beanie is born, silly mao is already playing mummy to this silly fellow below. Feeding him every few hours. Waking up once every night to feed him and play with him.
Today we went for our first ante-natal class and learn some interesting things. Nice nice. Well worth. Looking forward to class next week.

EDD adjusted

We went for the regular checkup earlier on beanie and the doctor has re-adjusted the EDD to a week later. Beanie is still rather small at around 900gm to 1Kg. The new EDD is now on 6th June 2006.
Somehow, I’m happy to know that it is now in June. I dunno why, but maybe I like June better than May.
Beanie. beanie….. Hmmm.. Can’t wait to see her..
Mao hasn’t been feeling too well lately.

She is having a cough since last week when we ate a durian. Poor mao and she’s feeling tired lately and needs lot’s of sleep. She is now in the third trimester liao! Not too long to go. Hmm, in fact we are really contemplating using “beanie” as her name. keke

Beanie’s Kicking!

Wowww. I can feel that she is kicking with her legs! It’s really amazing to think that a human is being created in the womb and it’s kicking from within.
It’s like “THUG”. Imagining her kicking with her tiny legs.
We got the cot instead.

We decided on a cot over the playpen. Cot hunting around for the past week, we saw many different types of baby cot but the first from Kidzloft was what caught our eyes. We didn’t buy it though as we wanted to look at other choices.
As we went around looking at different design and brands, all looks “ordinary” to me. We almost wanted to buy one from “Lucky Baby” even though it cost $299 but as it comes complete with mattress as well as all the padding and such, mao almost wanted to buy but the design doesn’t appeal to me. I managed to convince mao to look around for more choices.
Haha, in the end, we got the one from Kidzloft during the Baby Fair at Takashimaya. It cost the same as per the factory price but it came with free mattress and to top it up, my father-in-law is paying for it!
See that baby hanger with the price label? Hmmm, we were so tempted.. keke
